XOXO

I've resisted as long as I can, but my grief has gotten too big. It's time to discuss the massive hole in my life that was left by the ending of Gossip Girl. It was ridiculous and frivolous and I loved it with my whole heart. It filled the hole that The O.C. left and now I'm at my wit's end. Even my husband has mentioned a time or two (okay it's been more like 10 times) that he sure did miss Chuck. Without this show he would've never known his true desire of wanting to own silk pajamas and that's been a total blessing in his eyes! *insert mild sarcasm here* Who will be my go to girl for snotty fashion now that Blair has been removed from my weekly TV schedule?? How will I know how NOT to treat my friends without Serena's wisdom?? I had my picture taken on the steps of the Met because of this! I've been tempted to sew a heart charm in the sleeve of a sweater of every boy I've loved because of this! I had to have a ruby ring because of this! I don't feel like raising a new TV show child, I just want my GG back!!! Despite the fact that it was THE END, I did actually like how things came to a close. In all honestly, all I really cared about was Blair and Chuck getting their happy ever after. (What can I say? I really am a sappy tween at heart.) I don't think there will ever be another show that can even compare to Gossip Girl. Especially not now that everything has gone to the paranormal side. From the very first book to the very last episode, I was obsessed. I can hardly even believe the first book came out in 2002. Ten years is a long time to devote to something and I'm so happy I was in on the whole crazy ride. It's been fun y'all and now it's time to say for one last time:

You know you love me!
XOXO,
Gossip Girl
