Being 32 weeks (7 months) pregnant with your first child basically means your whole life is now consumed with thoughts of baby. "Will I have everything she needs? Will I know how to take care of her properly? Will she get her leg get stuck in the crib if I don't use a bumper? Will she smother on the bumper if I do use one?What kind of personality will she have? Will she even like me? What kind of mom am I going to be? Will she hate hair bows? Will she even have any hair? Will she come before her due date? Will my dog hate me for having her?" The questions are never ending and there's no way to know a single answer until she actually gets here. I've been trying to read different view points on certain topics such as breast feeding, getting your baby on a schedule and teething remedies so I will feel well informed and able to decide what works best for me when Miss Violet gets here. However, reading about one baby topic tends to lead me to three more baby topics that I know nothing about and would've never thought about prior to actually having a baby. The internet truly is a blessing and a curse when it comes to anal retentive hot messes like myself. I read and read and read, then I have a mild freak out because I have totally overwhelmed myself and then I do what every less than sane, 20something, pregnant gal does to calm herself down- I shop.
